SMART OBJECTIVE - book illustration

I am planning to create 4-7 pages ( size A4) of a book with colourful illustrations for teenage girls about fashion design plus cover, back and a colouring page. I am going to use various pieces of software such as Procreate, Pixlr and Canva. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of experience in the area of digital design, however, my dream is to learn and now is the best time for it.

There are going to be 7 pages including the cover, back and colouring section.

I would like to use Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator but at the moment I feel out of my depth. I have already started to work by myself but I proved to be more of a challenge than Procreator. I am looking forward to learning how to use them.

My project will starve to be inclusive. The girls will represent different ethnic backgrounds and abilities.

Each page will show the girls wearing adequate clothes for the given season.

Each page will be deveined to a different season (spring, summer, autumn, winter)

The last page will be a colouring section.

We have little time to complete the project. Nevertheless, I would like mine to be detailed.

For this project I will use Apple I Pad Pro 10 (2020) 12,9’’ and MacBook Air 13’’

    This needs more work - I have added this to your project sign off so you can discuss with Jurian - you need to consider your target market, the style and which particular digital software you will learn to create this

characteristic of Chinese dragon

Dragon is a mythological Chinese animal who serves as the protector of humanity, not its destroyer. It is not a monstrous beast to be slayed by the medieval knight, but a source of strength and wisdom.  In China the dragon  has been present in the pictoral form since the 9th century and is shown as fearsome and powerful but at the same time helpful and protective creature. Tutorial sheet

I had a short online meeting with the tutor, we talked about my progress on the major project. He suggested that I should try out some sketches by hand of my logo in different approaches such as flowers surrounding the text/behind the text etc.  Tutor advised me that I should post my paintings techniques exercises and practice those techniques in my flower painting.
