Planning stage:

      What were your initial ideas for creating a website? style / name / template

My initial idea for creating my website was promotion of my brand. I wanted create a place where potential clients and businesses can see my work and have an easy way to contact me. I wanted my site to be vivid , bright and colourful in flat illustration style, The name of my site is P.E.R.S. Patrycja Ruszczycka. In developing my website I was inspired by several female artists such as: Jacqueline de Leon, Alex Cabal whose work are full of colour and depict young women.
 

      Do you have a tagline on your website?

I do not have a tagline.

 

Research:

      Which designers / artists (relevant to your continuation route) websites did you look for inspiration?

I have looked on many designers and artist websites such as:

Content:

      What is the purpose of your website?

The purpose of my website is to create a place for bold powerful images.

      Who are your potential website users?

 The potential users of my website are people between 18-60 years old.

      Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website?

It is important to have a digital portfolio website to present my work to wider group of people. My clients can have easier access to my work and my work is available at all times. This is a good place to referee my clients.




Design:

      Which design elements / tools did you use? (e.g.: infographics, fixed header, static background image, navigation menu design, text boxes, image galleries, social media feed) and why?

I used a fixed header and my logo was created in Adobe Spark- Logo Maker. The background shows my drawings on Procreate. The navigation menu has 4 entries components. They are placed horizontally in the top right corner.

      Which template did you use in Wix and why?

I used

      How many pages does your website have and why?

I have 4 pages which was my plan from the beginning. 


Navigation:

      Does your website have working social media icon links?

My website has three working social media icons such as: Instagram, facebook and indeed.

      Are your pages connected / interlinked?

      Is it easy to navigate?

My website is easy to navigate

      Does the “Contact” page / email link work?

My contact page emails link works , email is fully functioning.


Testing (this will be completed in week nine):

      UX (user experience) testing – get your blog buddy to view your website on their mobile or other digital platform.

      Ask your blog buddy for feedback on your blog.

      If your website is not working on a mobile platform, you will need to go back to the Wix Editor and check that you have enabled the mobile view.
