Mary was independent and free thinking artist She is an artistic hero of the 20th century. I think her paintings are unique modern and stylish. She used in her work a vibrant colours and used modern shapes to create her creations. She didnt blend her colours but insted pushed contrasting colours up against each other. This method allowed to be more abstract and expressive. She created characters less realistic. She created 2-dimensional flat artworks. She expresess herself artistically working with illustrations for childrens book.
Mary created a missive and impressive Grand Canyon mural which is 90 feet high and made of tons of children and animals illustrations. This is incredible that one person worked on such huge piece.
I love her colourful style. She used different colour shades than other artists
She did art for Alice in Wonderlands, Cinderella and Peter Pan
