Reflection

I  apply to the course to change something in my life and finally start learning. I have always known that I have the potential to do something with my life. My motivation to join this course was my love of drawing that started when I was a child. I was hoping to learn a lot and I definitely did, even more than I expected. The course was demanding and challenged me every step of the way. My knowledge of different illustrators grew as I had to research quite a few. Some of them were inspirational discoveries, especially the young modern female illustrators, but unfortunately there was not enough information about them for me to be able to share with everybody.

There were also many practical skills that I come by during the course. I have learned how to use Flipsnack to create online flipbooks and Milanote to make visual boards of my ideas. It has taught me how to design my website, how to write a blog or create my own logo. Even though I have only been on the course for a couple of months, I already feel that there are new opportunities, options, and horizons opening to me.  I have to say that what I enjoyed the most was illustrating my book. I might not be a great writer yet but a chance to bring my creative ideas to life is really rewarding and I am grateful for all the hard work.
