Mockups - poster 1



Today I have created a logo by using the Adobe Illustrator program. The logo is composed of a red ink pen drawing that represents an outline of flowers and the curved name of the shop which is Red Blossom above the flowers. I decided to include a few advertising products: 
- a white logo t-shirt
- a beige linen bag with a gold flower logo on it
- business cards 
- a gift card 
- poster

I have created the branding for a florist shop. This task was 


My final logo



I created using my drawing on the right-down corner. I scanned my drawing and added it to Photoshop 
I used Pen Tool to create a vector Paths - lines 









When I selected the line with the Effect on it , after I chosen Object - Expand Appearance and this allowed me to convert the line  shape of the effect

    This is much better and I think much closer to your original vision - a skills based project that combined what you were learning this term. Now is the time to really push on with these ideas, these are some of the strongest elements you have posted this term.

characteristic of Chinese dragon

Dragon is a mythological Chinese animal who serves as the protector of humanity, not its destroyer. It is not a monstrous beast to be slayed by the medieval knight, but a source of strength and wisdom.  In China the dragon  has been present in the pictoral form since the 9th century and is shown as fearsome and powerful but at the same time helpful and protective creature. Tutorial sheet

I had a short online meeting with the tutor, we talked about my progress on the major project. He suggested that I should try out some sketches by hand of my logo in different approaches such as flowers surrounding the text/behind the text etc.  Tutor advised me that I should post my paintings techniques exercises and practice those techniques in my flower painting.
